U.S. Vice President owned this house while serving as second in command

United States Vice President Hubert H. Humphrey Jr. owned this house while serving as second in command from 1965 to 1969. He was also mayor of Minneapolis, MN (1945 to 1949), U.S. Senator (MN-1949 to 1965), and sought the presidency four times. Humphrey returned to the Senate in 1971 and passed away in 1978.
