The 1,740-square-foot house was built in 1900 in the Capitol Hill Historic District.

Domenick is owner and president at Multiple Strategies LLC, a small government relations firm.

She previously was executive vice president at Investment Company Institute.

Domenick also sold a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 3917 Ivy Terrace Court N.W. in Burleith for $1.595 million in June 2006.

Dikland is a senior manager at MorganFranklin Corp., a business and technology solutions company.

She also is a manager and senior consultant at BearingPoint, an independent business consulting firm. She previously was M.B.A. intern in international strategic planning at Discovery Communications. She was a teacher's assistant at American University and a partner and marketing manager at KTK Handmade. She has held various positions at Oxygen Media, including segment producer, writer and researcher, and TV programming and development coordinator, and was an executive assistant to the senior vice president at Warner Bros. Television.

She attended American University's Kogod School of Business and Emerson College.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 100 home sales in Capitol Hill during the past 12 months, with a median sale price of $740,000.
