Carreiro is an associate in litigation and American Indian law for Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP.
He previously worked on telecommunications, business, and natural resources matters for the American Indian tribal governments including the Chickasaw nation, his own tribe. He also served as president of the Native American Bar Association of Washington, D.C.
He received his J.D. in 2007 from the Columbia University School of Law and his B.A. in geography and Native American studies in 2002 from Dartmouth College.
Hemsley is an artist at the Spotlight Art Studios in D.C.
She previously was an administrative assistant with Hyde-D.C. and a communications assistant with AAIM. Prior to that, she was a senior administrative assistant for the Association of Program Directors in Internal Medicine and MPPDA. She has also worked for the American College of Cardiology and Partners for Livable Communities.
She attended Federal City College and the University of Maryland.
