Hinson paid $547,000 for the property in July 2006. The 990-square-foot home was built in 1900 in the Cardozo/Shaw neighborhood.
Hinston is the vice president of clinical and regulatory affairs for Symphony Medical Inc., a development stage company that develops biopolymer therapies to cardiac abnormalities, and a member of the board of directors of Biolife Solutions Inc., a developer and manufacturer of proprietary preservation media for cells, tissues and organs.
He previously was a senior director of clinical development at AnGes Inc., and a senior manager of medical and scientific affairs at Procter and Gamble Pharmaceutical.
He received his B.S. in biochemistry from the University of Cincinnati.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 4,182 home sales in Washington, D.C. during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $370,000.
