Dr. Wendell G. Boulware sold a five-bedroom, three-bath home at 4814 Fifth St. N.W. in Washington, D.C. to Virginia A. Henriksen and Ahmed R. Qasemfor $300,000 on Oct. 22.

Dr. Boulware paid $325,000 for the property in Sept. 2004. The 1,660-square-foot house was built in 1925 in the Petworth neighborhood.

Dr. Boulware is an anesthesiologist who has practiced at the Maryland General Hospital in Baltimore. He has been medical director for Sheridan Healthcare. He was affiliated with Southern Maryland Hospital.

He received his M.D. in 1990 from the Howard University School of Medicine and completed his residency in anesthesiology in 1994 at Albany Medical Center Hospital.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 4,183 home sales in Washington, D.C. during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $370,000.
