Patricia A. Forkan and Roger Neville Williams sold a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 152 Little Quarry Road in Gaithersburg to Andrea Amato and Gregory Cohen for $620,000 on May 12.

Forkan and Williams paid $475,000 for the property in Oct. 2002. The 1,975-square-foot house was built in 1992 in Gaithersburg West of Eisenhower Highway. It is located in the Kentlands Hill subdivision.

Forkan is the Humane Society of the United States' senior envoy to the Obama Administration. She is a member of the Trade and Environment Policy Advisory committee and has served on the public advisory committee to the International Law of the Sea Negotiations.

She received a B.A. in political science from Pennsylvania State University and has completed graduate work in political science at the American University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 1,351 home sales in Gaithersburg during the past 12 months with a median sales price of $310,000.
